  Brand Origin

Since its establishment in 1956, Daesang Corporation has grown into the leading food company in Korea through its fermented seasoning ‘Miwon.’
The overall social trend of emphasizing the ‘quality of life’ spread in the early 1990s, and such was also the case in the food industry as the nature and health-oriented trend became prevalent.  In the midst of such external environment, Daesang Corporation needed a new ‘nature, health-oriented’ total brand in order for it to develop into a total food company by satisfying the needs of the customers.  The brand ‘Chungjungone’ was created in response to such need.
The brand ‘Chungjungone’ came to being as it was used for the first time in a rich beef broth product in May 1996, and it has been continually receiving much attention from customers as the flagship brand of the company, as it was elevated to the family brand of Daesang Corporation since 1998.
